Electromagnetic waves - also known as radar waves - penetrate all electrical non-conductors without any resistance. Shielding is a must in order to protect the sensitive components of electronic equipment against such interferences. This can be done by means of chemical or electrochemical plating, namely galvanic metal plating.
The electroplating of ABS, ABS/PC mixtures, PC and PA-6 resp. PA-66 moulded parts allows the application of a metal coating which meets the demands of the FCC, VDE, DIN/ISO, IEC and CISPR.
